New Years

 we as Muslims have our own "new year" starting with the holy month of Muhurram,We don't acknowledge other calenders based on Jesus. Being in the USA, Muslims should not conform to the ideologies that are surrounding us, and what it represents. We have our own representations. We should not encourage others to follow traditions that are no islamic, therefore we do not conform to non-Muslim holidays, such as Easter, Christmas, and New Year, because they are all based on beliefs that Muslims do not believe. and when they say 500 BC or 2012 AD one should know what those letters mean; BC stands for "before Christ" and AD stands for "after death." so if a Muslims says Happy New years, he or she is acknowledging that Jesus ( Isa)  peace be upon him had DIED.
